  • Prepare and administer vaccinations.

As a member of our in-house pediatric clinical lab team, responsibilities include:

  • Specimen collection – via blood draws and other methods - processing and testing within our onsite lab.
  • Follow established procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
  • Record test results into Epic, our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, to make results available to ordering provider in a timely manner.
  • Monitor test results received from outside labs to ensure all appropriate follow-up actions are taken.

Full-time work schedule is 35-40 hours/week position and requires ability to work as part of our weekend rotation and some ‘minor’ holidays.

Chestnut Hill Pediatrics is seeking candidates for a part-time Pediatric Behavioral Health Counselor.  A Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling is required and candidates must be independently licensed to practice in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC).

This is a part-time position, 20 - 24 hour per week. Compensation is 65-75K per year FTE (full-time equivalents), equal to 39-45K per year for 24 hours per week.

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health concerns

  • Provide consultative support to medical providers and staff
  • Actively participate in meetings and professional development that support the practices’ integrated health care model
  • Assist in identifying patients at risk of developing health problems, and provide preventive interventions to address the needs of these populations
  • Assist the primary care team in developing care management processes, such as the use of guidelines, disease management techniques, case management, and patient education, to improve self-management of chronic conditions
  • Help evolve the practices integration efforts, by identifying problems and making recommendations for improvement

Experience working with children, adolescents, and families is required. Experience in pediatric primary care or other pediatric medical setting is preferred. Experience with behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, motivational interviewing, and brief, solution-focused interventions is highly desirable. Candidates should have a proven record of collaborative service delivery, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the flexibility and adaptability required to work in a fast-paced, busy medical practice.
