Summary of Duties:

  • Performs assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in various visit types, including annual well visits, sick visits, consultations, and follow-up visits.
  • Provides age-appropriate care for a wide patient panel, ranging from newborns to young adults
  • Properly refers patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary
  • Maintains accurate and complete medical history and information in patient chart
  • Records all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner on the appropriate forms and EHR

About the practice:

  • Pediatric Associates of Brockton is a private pediatric practice with 9 pediatricians (one nearing retirement in Spring 2024) and 5 nurse practitioners. The practice has a dedicated behavioral health provider and robust support staff.
  • There are three locations in: Brockton, Canton, and West Bridgewater. Physicians typically rotate through the offices.
  • The practice is well established, having been a staple in the Brockton community for over 50 years. There is partnership track potential
  • Office(s) are open 7 days a week; weekdays from 8:30-5:00, Saturdays and Sundays until approximately 1PM
  • Full-time is 8 sessions (4 days/week, 32 hours) whereas part time is 6 session (3 days/week, 24 hours), plus equal share of night and weekend call split among 9 providers
  • Call is telephone only, with no inpatient or newborn nursery responsibilities. A triage nurse takes first call for night call.
  • Expected volume for providers is approximately 20-25 patients per day
  • Payor mix: 20-25% Medicaid, balance private insurance
